O-Max is two orienteering events in one. Beginner (Yellow) orienteering 1-2 km in city parks with help for newcomers. And fast action-packed racing for experienced orienteers, with surprise challenges to make up for familiarity with the areas.
O-Max runs after work during February and March. Start yellow courses anytime 6-7pm. O-Max competitors start in reverse-seeded packs from about 6:15pm. Season ticket 6 for the price of 5 (paid at first event), or enter on the night. Enquiries Rob Collier,Ph 04 477 0352
Shorter O-Max course aimed at Year 11 and under College Students (with some experience, Yellow course recommended fornewcomers).
