Membership

Membership is for a calendar year.

  • Senior (21 and over) - $48 for standard membership; $120 for a premium membership
  • Junior (20 and under) - $24 for standard membership; $60 for a premium membership
  • Junior (7 and under) - free

Your age is as of 31 December. If joining in November or December, full fees are payable but membership runs to the end of the following year.  

Member benefits

  • Discounted entry to club events. Orienteering Wellington typically hosts around 20 events per year.

    For club-level events hosted by us—for example, local sprints, Sunday orienteering, and Orienteer of the Year (OY)—the following are available with advance registration:

    • 100% entry fee covered for premium members
    • 50% entry fee covered for standard members
  • Prioritised access to training held by the club.

  • Affiliation to Orienteering New Zealand (ONZ) and the Wellington Orienteering Association (WOA). These affiliations allow you participate in regional, national and international events without paying a significant levy.

To join Orienteering Wellington, choose the REGISTER button. For members from the same household,register each family member separately. Email Anna Varnham, Memberships Officer, if you would like the accounts to be linked so that details can be maintained from one login.

For the first time using this system, please follow the instructions above for a New Member.If you registered in a previous year, in the new year you will receive an email with an invoice attached, to renew your membership.
