Orienteering Wellington is hosting the NZ National Orienteering Championships 2020—often simply known as 'the Nationals'—at Easter (10-13 April 2020).

The Nationals offer world-class orienteering in the coastal dunes and pine forests of the Manawatu and northern Horowhenua, and a sprint event around an intriguing new area in Palmerston North.
Event details are given below and entries are open until Friday 27 March 2020.

Friday 10 April - Sprint distance, Pit Park, Freyberg School, Palmerston North
Saturday 11 April - Long distance, Scotts Ferry (new area), east of Bulls
Sunday 12 April - Middle distance, Osgliath NW (new area), Waitarere. A prizegiving dinner will be held at Himatangi Beach Community Hall that night.
Monday 13 April - Inter-club relay, Whirokino, Waitarere
Individual events will be trials for Junior World Orienteering Champs and World University Champs.
The M/W21E grade Sprint and Middle distance events will be World Ranking Events.
The Sprint distance will be a trial for the World Orienteering Championships 2020.
